Thank you for your interest in FM-PDN: the Family Medicine - (Medical Student Education) Predoctoral Directors' / Educators' Network This list is for Family Medicine medical student educators only. Subscribers include physicians or other educators who have primary administrative responsibility for the family medicine medical student education activities within an institution. The school's Medical Student Education Director recommends all subscriptions from the institution. The purpose of this list is to facilitate communication and collaboration among Family Medicine medical student education educators nationally. Discussion topics primarily focus on organizational and administrative issues, but may include such topics as curriculum design, student and curriculum evaluation, and career choice particularly as they relate to programmatic decisions. Participants are encouraged to share administrative issues, dilemmas, concerns, plans or results. If you are interested in subscribing, please discuss it with your Medical Student Education Director first. Then complete the form below. You will be sent a confirmation to verity your address. Once you have confirmed, the moderator will contact you and verify that the Medical Student Education Director knows that you are subscribing. The moderator will also ask you to describe your past experiences, present roles and interests in medical student education. When you are added to the list, this one- or two-paragraph sketch will be used to introduce you to the rest of the list membership. Subscribing to FM-PDN
Subscribe to FM-PDN by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
