Revised: September 13th, 1999
This page contains links to the materials used in hands-on workshops which focus on electronic mail. These workshops have been held at facilities across Minnesota as well as at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Family Physicians
- Basic E-mail Skills
- The Basic E-mail handout gives introductory information about the use of electronic mail while the hands-on Exercises for Netscape Communicator 4.6 and Exercises for Netscape Communicator 3.0 give step-by-step instructions on the basic skills of using electronic mail effectively. Also included are notes for the instructor which will help the instructor prepare for the class.
- Advanced E-mail Techniques
- The Advanced E-mail handout gives more in-depth information about some of the tools and techniques for the management of electronic mail. Though most e-mail packages have the same capabilities, each may use its own unique commands. Currently we have a hands-on exercise for use with Windows 95/98/NT4.0 Eudora Pro Demo 4.2. Also included are notes for the instructor which will help the instructor prepare for the advanced e-mail class.
- Selected Web Sites
- An index of selected Web sites covering both basic and advanced e-mail email techniques, tools and resources.
